About the Exhibition
Merely a teacher in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, I have made some sculptures out of sheer personal interest in my spare time. Having neither intended them to please the public nor wanted to be an avant-gardist of modern art for myself, I do this only for fun. Personally, these sculptures of mine are rather ¡°traditional¡±, though orthodox gilds may not think so. And they are far from being called avant-garde works. Maybe it would be better to label them as ¡°neither-nor¡± sculptures.
